Many city and town lots are 80 by 120 feet, but most Americans own zero. A weighted average would come to abour 10 by 12 feet.

I would say, and this is just my opinion, that the average American house is on a lot that measures 100 feet wide by 150 feet deep.or 15,000 square feet. You'll get a lot of opinions on this one.
