I personally like carrying my laptop around in a backpack because it balances the weight of the laptop on my shoulders. Sounds like you're on the go, then a laptop backpack is good for you.

I carry my laptop around in a backpack all the time. It's made by Targus.

I don't own one and haven't seen one in person (that I know of) but have seen them in catalogs, etc. Yes, they seem to have NO wheels, and are carried on your back like a backpack.
