i want to play games like i don't know, isn't the Wii about the same as the xbox360 anyway?

I own the wii. It is so much fun and you can do play for hours! The difference is, that for the Xbox 360, it is a gaming console and you play with a remote. The wii, you control, when you play baseball...you swing the bat, with the xbox 360 you press A. See the difference. If you're lazy (no offence) than I'd say get the xbox 360, because you can sit or stand up and play with out the workout and or stretching. The wii, you can again sit or stand, but standing is better with the wii remote. If you're playing wii sports, I so reccamend boxing, because you punch, and you're wii mii does too (your wii mii is a mini avatar of your self!) On the wii, you can see the weather forecast and news! ( you must connect to the internet!) I reccamend the wii, because it is fun right put into a video gaming system and the xbox 360 is fun, but you just can't that much excerise. On the wii, if you want to purchase a new game (Again needs to be connected to internet), you don't have to go to the stores, you can just fill out a forum, pick out a game and it is saved onto your system (No disk, nothing!) For a man, I say wii. But the xbox 360, can be fun. If you don't own a gamecube, and have always wanted to, purchase the wii, because on top there is a gamecube (pretty cool, eh?) and you just plug in the gamecube controller, pop in a game and oh look two systems in one! But the xbox 360 is fun too, I reccamend the wii! Good luck choosing!

Well it depends on your taste in games. The 360 is all about graphics. The Wii is all about originality and family oriented fun.
I'll tell you the truth with the Wii. As much fun as it is. I love it, I just got it and I'm highly addicted. But graphic wise it's not too far off from the N64. There has been little improvement in that aspect. But the originality and the direction in which they are going is monumental. It's bringing us that much closer to virtual reality games like you always saw in the Jetsons!
The 360, I hate Microsoft. I love RPGs and Action Adventure and there are next to none that are even worth looking at on the Xbox. I've looked at it and played it in stores and the graphics are amazing. But is there much more to it than that? I don't know.
I would say go into a game store that has the systems set up, test each one, and check out the game selection. That should have you decide better. Hands on is the way to make the best choice!

Ok
The Wii has BAD graphics...does not play DVD's......you have to move around ALL THE TIME......not HD compatible........just plain BAD!!
The Xbox 360: Awesome graphics especially on HD 1080i.....play's DVD's and HD DVD's....You can just relax and play instead of moving around all the time......Better online play......all you have to do is connect an ethernet cable to it and make a xbox live account and it gives you a free month.......you can stream music, pics,and videos from your Zune or PC....you can plug in a music device and listen to it WHILE playing a game.....Xbox 360 is the best gaming system out there....
PS3:
Overrated...overpriced (WAY OVERPRICED) no controller rumble...only plays Blu-Ray DVD's.....overheat problems (MAJOR) my frineds accidentaly left it on overnight and the whole outside of the PS3 melted.......although the graphics are a tad better but some of the PS3 games ar laggy (goes slow...graphic card cannot handle the graphics....) The Online play is TERRIBLE!
I would TOTTALY reccomend Xbox 360

XBox has better graphics but doesn't last a year before it needs to be repaired. The Wii has good, not great, graphics and an intuitive controller. XBox is for "hard-core" gamers, Wii is for gamers in general.

well i think the xbox has better graphics but i chose to get the wii instead because of the games and controllers.I would try online. I got my wii at http://www.doiop.com/wiii . all you do is put in your email address. i got mine in sent out in less than a week.

I can tell you not to waste your money on the Wii. Why?
Because the 360 is a 100% better gaming system with better games, graphics and on-line gaming community. There is no comparison because the 360 is in a whole other league; the Major league, while the Wii is still playing in the Pee-wee league.
Please, please do yourself a favor and get the 360 and you won't regret it.

the Wii is much better for sports games, because you actually act out the moves to the sport instead of xbox where you push a button to make that move
the Wii is soooooo much cooler!

The Wii is fun.. But go try them both at the store (the demos) and see which you like better.

wii has the graphichs of a normal x box but it has an awsome controller on the other hand x box 360 has awsome graphics and an hd dvd player but a borring controller so its your choise

i would get the 360 because with you get xbox live if you have the internet.
