I have a problem with thinking that I am pregnant every month before my period, even when I haven't had sex! I will get to the point where I get sick to my stomach because I worry myself about it.
I know it stresses my boyfriend out because he doesn't understand. He's like we haven't had sex in 3 months?!
Why do I do myself like this and what can I do to help lessen my anxiety?

Sounds to me like you have another problem here -- you are not so much worried about being pregnant as either feeling guilty about having sex without being married or worried about what people would think of you if you were pregnant. You need to talk to someone to work out your underlying issues. You must have a really understanding boyfriend if he is willing to go without for 3 months at a time! You also sound quite young -- maybe you are not ready for this type of relationship and should concentrate on other areas of your life for a while.

In my opinion you should see a counsellor about this problem, this isn't something that you can fix yourself. But it is quite irrational to be afraid of being pregnant every month, especially when you haven't been having sex! That is definitely not possible, and even if you have sex if you use a reliable form of contraception you will definitely not get pregnant.

But do see a psychologist to fix this problem, I don't think it is really the type of thing that you can fix by yourself. Until then don't worry about this, I can assure you it's not possible. Good luck!

Read the facts about how women can become pregnant. There are many reading materials on line. When you come to know the facts, you will quit worrying unnecessarily. Knowledge is a powerful tool to ease fear and anxiety.

You may want to talk to a therapist or a doctor about this... it sounds like OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). You may have had some kind of traumatic event that caused you this much anxiety about something as wonderful as sex. Talk to someone soon before it gets worse.
