lol well my last answer was more focused on someone thinking you're weird if you didn't speak again. ....... I'll share my thoughts with you sometime. *wink*

As far as silence? I guess I'm different. I can't deal with silence. Maybe its because I'm around kids all day long and have learned to operate under tons of noise. But silence seems to be......... nothingness. And I need substance. Don't get me wrong. I could sit in silence for hours staring at a mountain....... but the wind and the animals and insects would give me the background noise so necessary to set the stage perfectly. I could sit in a quiet room..... with the right person helping me feel I'm not alone. But I hate finding myself alone...... in silence. It feels like.... the end.

I read to music... I study with the tv on. I need the noise to remind me i'm not alone. I have to fall asleep to sound...... silence in the night.... scares me more than I should admit. So silence is NOT important to me....... at all.

Very important. Have you ever heard the silence after it snows. That is my favorite silence.

I need silence much like I need air. . .

Out of silence mystery comes, and magic,

the delicate awareness of unreasoning things."

Silence is important for me because I get overloaded with stimuli if there's too much noise and I'm tryna do something.

I'm not Marianne and I'm not Ginger but being silent is sometimes the best thing to do. I have often regretted some of the things I have said but I have rarely regretted keeping my mouth shut. What is that saying...it is better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.
