We have to wear gray pants in school and the school pants are hideous. I've looked in all of my afvorite stores and the only thing I saw was a pair of super cute white pants that I figured I could dye gray; Problem is they don't sell gray dye. How can I make gray dye?

I dyed my son's pants. You can buy rit dye in black and instead of using the entire bottle, use only half. You should end up with gray pants. Good luck.

RIT DYE MAKES A GRAY DYE COLOR. AFTER YOU DYE THE PANTS AND GET THE COLOR YOU DESIRE, WASH THEM IN SALT WATER, IT WILL SET THE COLOR.

RIT dye is awesome...if you have to just use the black only half bottle like stated above...did this with other colors...

put them in black dye, check after a few minutes,,,,, till you get the shade of gray you want

just put em in the wash a few times with dark clothes n that cam help!
