When I think of India, I think of beauty. Beautiful jewlery, scarves, clothing...

my family is from india. my parents are both immigrants from the "state" of kerela. it's a beautiful place. very green and has lots of trees and plants. My grandmother's house is right by the shore so we can drive down to the Indian Ocean and spend some time at the beach when i visit. if you're planning on going to india for the first time, let me warn you, there are absolutely NO traffic laws. just make sure that you keep every part of your body inside of the vehicle and you'll be safe. I've also been to Bangalore and Bombay. Both are very beautiful also. If you do decide to go to India, i promise you that you'll love it. But do us all a favor, dont ignore the poor beggars that you'll see everywhere you go. there are over a billion people living in the tiny sub-continent of india and not all of them can be as rich as my family is. just give them a few rupees and they will bless you forever.

From what I know, India has done a good job of raising its standard of living and improving its economy. I wish the people of India all the luck in the world. If a peaceful solution could be found to the problem with Pakistan it would be wonderful for all because less money and resources would have to be wasted in military preparedness. Good luck!!

From a retired American who has been living off and on for 33 years. Now permanently here.
A country of beggars, bums, vampires, scams and the rich are the worst. A world unto its own. Pure chaos! Dirty!
The Religion Control everything even down to when thy can take a S H I T!
A country of total superstitious. Nothing is as it appears.
Corruption and lying is an every minute activity.

Huge country with many different cultures, languages, and sights to see.

Just go to the Taj Majal and skip the rest.

Too confusing.

For further info about India, just call customer service of any American company and ask the person who answers the phone.

it is a poor country. my friend went there and she said they have alot of people hurting, dieing, and starving.there are like over millions of kids homeless because of starvation.most kids go without food for a day. some babies that are about 2 days old haven't had their first meal. i think America, or other countries should help the poorer countries. we live on the same world, we should help. we really should.
