I am one of the people who think in pictures and translate words into pictures. I do seem to have extreme diffulty with translating pictures into words. I love to type stories because I am an obsessive daydreamer. Could you please help me with this little problem? This problem also stops me from answering stacks of questions in tests even though I know the answers most of the time but I cannot seem to translate my answers, which are in pictures, into words.

It sounds like you have some kind of processing impairment. How old are you? Have you ever been tested? A speech language therapist would be able to help you with the picture translating. If you have a processing problem diagnosed you would be eligible to get extra time during tests.

Maybe you should try taking a deep breath, and just stay calm. Think about what the picture says to you. What do you see? Then, just try writing it down. Or you could try describing what the picture looks like, and maybe that will help you to translate it into words.

u should learn how to articulate your thoughts
you are probably a very visual person
learn not just by looking at things / remembering visually / in silence
try to verbalise what you know while studying
