I hope he gets rescued which leads to an epic police chase, followed by a 12 hour stand-off, finishing with the SAS assaulting the building he is in and gunning him down.
All broadcast live on TV of course.

Having lived many years in Europe and having given considerable thought to what is after all true "Justice" & "Punishment", and whether we are fit to sit in judgment on other people's doings, I am totally against any death sentence.
After World War II, the Allies who won promptly executed the leaders of Nazi Germany. It was also wrong, as in the case of Sadam now. Just imagine if Germany & Italy had won World War II and the Nazi courts had sentenced Churchill and Roosevelt to death!
Europe is a civilized place where they have abolished the death penalty. Many individual States in the US have also done it - almost 14 States to be exact. The European leadership is also against executing Sadam - although many of their own forces fought and died for the downfall of Sadam.
I am a strong believer of Eternal Justice, in which God will definitely deliver the right punishment to all who have wronged.
Let Sadam undergo a life term imprisonment of hard labour and have all the time to regret about what all he has done. That will be adequate!

If he’s not executed think of the difficulty of housing him for the next ten years in a country falling apart at the seams. He’s already massaging the Iraqi public to have mercy on him by calling for everyone to forgive each other. The longer he’s alive, the more mischief he’ll do. Either hang him in February or send him to some other stable country to fill a life sentence.

Such questions only indicate confused state of mind. Saddam has long history of struggle. Only history will give fair verdict about his crimes causing his down fall. Hanging is a process and is the same for all. Be cool and pray for people of Iraq. Iraqi people are more important.

I think we should make him listen to country music non stop for at least 48 hours first, then make him watch films of what he has done to all of the people he's hurt and killed for at least a month or so. Than pick one of the atrocity's that he has inflicted on just one of the people in the film, and kill him that way.

I think Saddam should be strung up in the heart of Baghdad and stoned by the public. I'd really enjoy being there myself to ensure that all the stones are only as big as dimes so that it takes a very long time for him die with as much pain as possible. He was a sick man who did sick things and he deserves to die in a sick way.

Let's compare- Saddam and the US. Sure he has killed many, many people, and nobody denies these atrocities, however, we on the other hand are no saints. Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Dresden and all of the "collateral damage" we have inflicted around the world, what has become of our leaders? Retirement with honor, dignity, secret service protection, and a healthy pension, perhaps we should look at the way we treat our own leaders. Saddam was convicted of killing 148 after an assassination attempt on his life, look at what Bush2 has done with the assassination attempt on Bush 1, a complete devastation of an entire country, and region for that matter. Before we make our judgments, perhaps we should look at ourselves and who we really are.

I think the way the Saddam case is handled by the usa is unjust and premeditate. If Saddam is guilty of murdering many innocent people then what Musharraf is doing in Kashmir? It is time that america stop meddling with the internal matters of other countries. Let the Iraqi people decide what they want to do with their dictator for his crimes.

He should die like he did to some of his enemies. He use to put people in a pen with hungry dogs. That would be good for him.
