I have a Creative and to rip DVDs onto my PC I use AoA DVD Ripper but I doubt that will work with iPod. There is a small fee to pay so make sure you know the it works before purchasing.

You jumped on the bandwagon and bought an Apple. Well, if you'd looke into the player market a bit more carefully, you would have found better quality, more efficient brands such as Creative. Had you used this or a similar manufacturer you would have been supplied with the necessary software. Apple want you to continue buying from them. Put it in the bin now, save money in the long term.

I use a program called DVD Shrink. It's free and it ripps the dvd to your computer. Netx all you have to do is find a program that will convert your files into files that the iPod will understand.
you can check the site www.ipodlounge.com they normally have many solutions for this.

need to join a music site like Rhapsody or Urge on the new 11 version of microsoft media player and you will be happier than downloading a bunch of free stuff that isn't nearly so easy.
