Alternate timeline series here--
Germany wins in Europe
Great Britain; sues for peace, but retains India
Russia:Moscow, Leningrad, & Stalingrad all fall
Italy; rules from Morocco to Egypt (Rommel takes Cairo)
Turkey and Spain join the 'Axis European Hegemony'
Germany rules Middle East (Syria, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, etc.)
USA to signs the 'Co-Prosperity Sphere' w/ Japan
Australia and the America's remain largely unaffected
Africa carved up into 'Empire Sovereignties' (75% Axis)
Canada down to Peru become a sort of NATO
Pacific Ocean is 50% Japanese, 50% US protectorates
Cuba is invaded by a much less confident USA
The Beginning of the Second Great Century of Empires begins.
Benefits; Axis powers brutally suppress and eliminate 'fanatics' everywhere. Guerrilla actions spring up, but far from Europe and get no support from 'Hermit Kingdoms' such as Iran and N. Korea. Most terrorist groups therefore are of limited abilities and scope. Science and Technology continue to advance astronomically but the cost of some humanitarian efforts. The bulk of the worlds problems right now stem from the areas that the Axis Powers would hold in the above scenario. Italian Ethiopia and German Somaliland (when they existed for real) were very well controlled. The sectarian violence would have been far more regulated (extremists would have been rooted out and killed regularly). Humanitarian aid would have been more regular because to the Axis these people would have been cheap workers and you cant allow them all to die can you. Both the Axis and what remained of the Allied Powers would have engaged in an arms race as the Axis tried to develop a decent Blue Water Navy as well as continue their nuclear weapons development program. The Allies had a significant advantage in the Naval forces and were on par with the German nuclear weapons development. Germany and Japan would have likely spent the next 25~50 years conquering and settling all of the rest of the Russian territories and perhaps China as well. Cuba becomes a thriving state under American 'protection' and is used as a 'Monroe Doctrine' proving point that the USA tried to use to get the rest of the Americas to follow and thus join the "American Co-Prosperity Sphere". Religion is far more controlled and regulated, so very few conflicts are started out of a 'religious intolerance'. The Axis was predominantly Christian and Shinto. The Allies were predominantly Christian. The Muslims are not oppressed, but are not in control of any nation by and large. Religious fanatics get no support for anything, so no 'Jihad' is possible anywhere. Malaysian Muslims go into hiding in the jungles and threaten only local Philippine and Thai interests locally. Japan brutally crushes this eventually if it has to adopt a scorched island policy in order to do so.

If the outcome of the war had been reversed and the Third Reich had come to power, a lot of the freedoms we now enjoy may never have come into being. These are only speculations: the Aryan race would be considered genetically superior, the mentally retarded/handicapped may be "eliminated" as inferior, the Jews would no longer exist as the "final solution" would never have been stopped. German would probably be the most common spoken language. The SS agents would most likely control all media and, like the communist, create a level of fear and repression amongst the common people. Economically, it might be similar to what communist Russia was with the state controlling businesses and military getting the lions share of the funding. As far as benefits, well, honestly I just can't think of any. This was an honest attempt to speculate what may have been but thank God, is not!

We the English would all be speaking German and the realy old Jewish communities in the united Kingdoms would not exist ( see Oliver Twist and Fagen for an image of old london Jews )perhaps because at the hight of the war we put our U.k. jews into internment camps for there safety ( this is documented but I am not sure where). Amarica seems to always need an enemy so insted of Russia perhaps a long cold war against Germany, and what about Russia? would Russia just be the bit of Russia we see now? In Europe since the Nineteen Sixties ish Germany has been a major financeal infulance but then so is France and what if they had not been liberaited would they have still had there influnce in Aisa in the Fiftys and Sixties ask a Korea or Vietnam suvivor about that one if you want an intresting answer about the French colenies in Aisa. If you are ever In Europe look at the restoraition of Dresden where we English sent our brave bombers and Coventry where the Germans sent there bombers and see how we British did our repairs. we tended to go for a more traditional look, Dresden showed a modern outlook in architecture, who won the war finantialy? what price freedom? also if you can, see Stalingrad in Russia to see how Russia did there repairs when the dust had setled. A major diferance might have been in the rise of the Europian Ecconomic Comunity, are there other major players in Europen Finance who would have been affected? would this be affecting Americas attitude towards Europe or Europe's finantial power even now? Germany and France have turned out to be major finantial powers since the war where there leaders liked or loved? and what of there finance minesters in charge of the nations monies? hope you find this intresting. Also try Himat ? for a t.v.drama with awards for exalance It's about Germany and Germans after the war. please read phoneticly (as it sounds) because I seem to have got the best of the spell checker thanks.

The map of Europe would almost certainly be different, and a lot more Jews and other dissenting groups would be dead. That said, I do not think it would have lasted, and Germany would not have gotten much further than they already did. A regime built on hatred and racism would face decades of riots, resistance, and guerilla warfare. No one has the resources to deal with this sort of thing over such a broad area. Eventually their economy would have collapsed, and their empire would have crumbled. The United States is too isolated to have been conquered, but they may have suffered a significant loss of life and economic hardship. I like to think they would have recovered. It is debatable that they would have used atomic bombs on Germany, which opens a whole new line of questions. I agree with the person who said that Germany likely would have developed nuclear weapons, but they have them now, too. Look what happened to the Soviet Union. Germany is likely more powerful now the way things turned out than they would have been had they won the war.
But you never know. I'd get my butt kicked in my history classes for even suggesting a question like this, as it is illogical. Oh, but these questions are so much fun!

Many of us would not exist today as the Third Reich believed in only "perfect" people (Arians with Nortic Features). Yes, those blonde haired, blue eyed with the perfect nose and features could exist. All elderly and disabled, handicapped, etc. would NOT be allowed to exist. Hitler had baby farms in which he forced "perfect Arians" to breed and would take these babies to raise them as future soldiers. Sounds like some Sci-Fi movie, but this did happen and would be a reality if Germany had dominated. I ponder the effects of and on Italy and Japan as they were allies.
It would be horrible. I could not imagine.

unquestionably by employing the time the atomic bomb replaced into dropped the WWII replaced into extremely over. in basic terms Japan stood in the way of entire victory. The atomic bomb replaced into dropped to hurry up the ending of the conflict.
