That store is sooooooooo annoying! The store is so dark you really can't see what your looking at, the music is soooo loud, the clothes are ridiculously overpriced! If I were blindfolded in the mall, I would know when I passed a Hollister store just because of the nauseating scent that bursts forth toward the entrance...and all of the clothes possess that scent.
So what is it about that store that teens like? What are your thoughts and please be respectful. Thanks!

I have two teens too - they are not that crazy about that store (thankfully), but they do like American Eagle. I also like that store because they have actual sales! The sales people are helpful and friendly and you can see what you're buying! Plus, the name of the store is not plastered all over the front of the t-shits, sweatshirst, etc.(although they do give you that option as some of their styles do advertise their name). thanks for all the great answers so far!

I Know! I am 13, but I still don't go there. a piece of cloth is like 567546498 dollars. Aeropostale is better...but i heard people say the hollister clothes never really ware out...but still i wouldnt pay that much for such a thing!!

Well, popularity, the "in thing" is why they like it. But some of the clothes are too revealing and trashy for my taste (I'm a bit classy) but if you look real hard you will find tasteful clothing in Hollister, Abercrombie, and American Eagle. But I agree with you on the Hollister deal, you could hear the music upstairs in the mall, and it is super dark there. I thought it was a cafe' when I first saw it LOL, but I don't really shop there or any other "Cali Prep" stores, nothing's wrong with them (except for what I mentioned earlier) but they just aren't my style.

I like Hollister. Alot of ppl think the clothes are cheeply made but they last along time with lots of wear. There clothes are soooooooo cute and it is a cheeper version of Abercrombie and Fitch. There perfume smells great AND I like how the store is set up becasue it looks like a surf shop or house!

Hollister is my all-time favorite store! I am absolutely in love with it. If you like the clothes, then it's worth the little extra money. Compared to Abercrombie & Fitch, I think pricewise that Hollister is a little better.

I think hollister is a great store...if you like paying a ton of money for clothes that look like they've been worn by a bum for several years before being put on the shelf.
They do have some clever t-shirts, though. Very cheaply made, and too expensive, but cute.

I have 2 teens and they love to shop there. Its just a fad right now. I can buy my son a shirt that looks the same from a different store but since it doesnt say Hollister, he wont wear it. Definately a fad, and I cant wait for it to pass. That store is expensive in my opinion.

The teens seem to like the style of clothes and Hollister has a good name with teens. They like the type of clothing - style, colors, etc.

I agree with you completely ! At the school I go to Hollister is so overrated . I don't see what the big deal is about their clothes,they're over priced and the sizes are whack.I'm a small in every other store but yet there I'm a large , that store is meant for stick figures who NEED to fit in .

AND WITHOUT THE HALF NAKED MEN, PLASTERED ALL OVER THE STORE AND THE BAD EUROPEAN MUSIC.
