Respect the person who has past away, celebrities are humans we all make mistakes, but who are they or any of you to point them out the negatives.

As for James Brown or the former president, they all have made mistakes but what does that have to do with reporting the death and the cause

In today's society, the focus seems to be on the bad things that celebrities do. I guess it's the media's way of showing that celebrities are human and make mistakes like the rest of us. It's sad that the media does this when they could be suing those minutes that none of us will eer get back to show us the good things that those celebrities have done. I mean, the person is dead; they should at least get peace and the privacy that they might not have gotten while they were alive.

Because it makes better headlines or sound bites on the news to say this person was REALLY a screw-up and broke the law and spent time in jail. James Brown's contribution to music cannot be discounted or diminished by the fact that he was an alcoholic and spent time in prison. Try to concentrate on the good aspects of his life, or any other person's life.

what do u think makes a celebrity a celebrity if not their problems with the legal department they always wana show that they can do anything that is the only way they can stand out from all their colleagues and thus be called celebrities

The celebrity's legal problems or arrest record might be mentioned, but I don't think it's focused on. Usually they give the celeb a lot of hoopla about his/her career.

I don't know! I hate that. Nevermind what it was they contributed significantly to their artform.
I really can't stand the media at times. They should concentrate 99 percent on the positive rather than dwell on the unsavory facts.

They don't focus on legal trouble and being arrested if there are none to focus on.
