Are you serious?
It only seems like the gay population is expanding, becuase more and more gay people are becoming less and less terrorized by bigoted straight people, and instead of hiding who we are, we are simply being ourselves, whether you like it or not.
You make it sound like an increase in the number of cattle being born on farms in Texas.
Even though your question is kind of naïve, it has historical relevence, because Hitler actually had a 'plan' to exterminate all the gays in Europe. Hitler believed that if he killed every gay in the gas chamber, they would go away.
But in the next generation after Hitler, there was a new, equally large populations of gays in Europe, which increased the idea that being gay is probably genetic.

Who is expanding the gay population?
That's easy. Heterosexuals. Everyone knows how they fornicate constantly, two arms, two legs and a pulse and they hump like rabbits! They push out kids quicker than a goat with dysentery pass stools. If it weren't for the gay people saving the planet we'd be up to our armpits with screaming kids and dirty disposable diapers.

Its global warming (and you are probably one of those that laughed at Al Gore). As temperatures rise the homosexual hormones percolate and rise (much like yeast). Doubt it? Look at some popular gay cities, South Beach in Miami, Palm Springs, Key West, Sydney all warm weather cities and gay friendly environs.
Still doubt? At about the same time they noted the hole in the ozone layer over Antarctica scientist begin to notice the rise in homosexuality in penguins there too.
So next time you spray an aerosol can, or drive your SUV to the store know that somewhere an otherwise straight person is becoming gay.

I blame the people giving birth. If there were no more hetero couplings producing offspring, then the Gay population would die out. Mind you so would the rest of the Human Race...

The more people that are born, the greater the overall population will be. The greater the overall population, the larger the gay community.

Those who are inborn gays...those who are straight and having relationship with gays and eventually becoming gay themselves...and those who are pretending to be gays for the heck of it...and those who are pretending to be gays in order to take advantage on the weaker sex.
