Okay, I believe that your hamster has wet tail if you say it has diarheaa, but make sure you are correct. I'll leave you a website. Next, you should sex your animal and find out if it's a boy or girl. Then, hamsters sleep a lot because they're nocturnal -they're only awake at night.

Hamsters are supposed to sleep all day. They're active really only at nighttime.
And it's pretty obvious if your hamster is a male; the balls on those little guys are HUGE.

To check the sex of a hamster then turn it upside down look at its "area" and if the two holes are far away then its a boy. If there close then its a boy.
