Do poor people on the side of the road ever go noticed???
Is that what you meant? Of course, they are...but what do you want me to do. I give a dollar or 2, but what should I do??

They are noticed all the time, often ignored. Keep in mind that often they're there not just because they're "poor" but because they choose to spend every cent they "earn" on drugs/alcohol and have nothing left to pay for a place to live. Sad, but true. The poor ones who make it off the street are the ones who seek help in getting their lives back together. I applaud them!

I don't give to the people beside the road...sorry. I see the people there all the time, and I've also seen them at SuperAmerica spending their $$ on booze. I give to the homeless shelter, the Salvation Army and a local charity that clothes kids who can't afford their own....I'd rather give to them where I know the money will do some good.

I agree. There should be no rich people if there are poor people. US greed will be our downfall.

They go un- noticed, until they approach you, and ask you for some money.
