It May comprise of these categories: IQ, EQ and psychological tests. If you score high in the IQ and EQ and is a psychologically stable person , then you are selected for the job.
Or if you are talking about the selection type of exams (multiple choice); it has been discovered through research that most of multiple type questions are answered by the letter C and that the first option that usually comes to your mind is the correct answer, because 70 % chances is that the brain recognizes the word that has already been processed.
