I am going to a New Years Eve party and I need some help on what to wear. I'm not sure what style dress to wear and type shoes and stockings. I need some suggestions. Barbara

Get yourself a nice black cocktail dress & a pair of 4" strappy sandals. And since it's New Years girl, black silk stockings with a seam & please wear a garter belt too.

I would go with a basic black dress- not only is it slimming, and classy as can be, but you don't have to worry about staining it either! You can then accesorize like CRAZY, to add color. If you go w/ a black dress, obviously get some black heels, but don't get CRAZY HIGH heels. Get something that has a bit of a heel, but also make sure they're not going to kill your feet by the end of the night. Walk around in them a lot the day before the party- pay attention to see if they feel even SLIGHTLY tight on ANY part of your foot. As for stockings, get a "nude" color- you don't want it to be WAY obvious you're wearing pantyhose, but they will make it more comfortable. Have fun!

It all depends on how dressy the party is. So if it is a casual party you can go with a plain black dress and maybe some fishnets. Remember the shoes always make the outfit. So ultimately what shoes you wear will either dress up or dress down your outfit. I personally love the color red and it is a stunning color on most people. So if you have a red dress, that is always a color that makes you stick out. So whatever you choose, remember your shoes are what makes the outfit casual versus dressy. Hope that helps.

If you do not shave your legs wear some skin tone stockings with panty hose on top. Matte black heals. Wear a sparkly shimmering gown that sets off your best assets without being trashy. If you tape and wear falsies, work the cleavage. If you have shapely legs show them with a side split gown. Even if you don't normally, wear some false eyelashes. When else to be glamorous but New Years!

Wear what you like. Nobody hear knows your style better than yourself. I prefer the slut, ho look, with high heels, mini, and nylons. Bleach blond wig to top it off. Others prefer the more conservative look. Being New Years you might want to add something with sparkle as an accent. Otherwise just go with what you have as a favorite outfit.....nothing beats comfortable either.

a little black dress goes with almost anything. make sure you get some good quality high heels (you don't want them to break) and wear them a little bit before you spend the night in them or it's gonna hurt you real bad.

get nude nylon pantyhose and cut the crotch out so you don't sweat (down there).

something new! something royal like a purple satin dress. or maybe something that would go with the season... you know a dark colored outfit to match the snow outside or something. if you live in a tropical place, wear something sleeveless with a shawl or a see-through poncho to keep you warm in these cold-wind days!

Because it is a festive occasion I would wear something sleek and sexy. Go for basic black and "diamonds", like Audrey Hepburn. Black nylons and low heels. Don't forget the perfume. :)
