Get your site listed in as many directories as you can. Do a search and you will find lots of these and some are free. The ones with higher Google Page Ranks are best as they will get you rated higher with the search engines.

Most of all create good quality content. Write proper html.
Your page will work & ppl will recommend You.
Search enjines give several such recommendations.
My personal pick:
Generate content that others want to copy - and insist on links.

1) Get high search engine rankings
2) Advertise; ie Google adsense or similar
3) Make sure you use a spell checker when you design your site, cause you did not use it here.
4) Ask again with a link to the site so we can see what kind of site it is.
