If Hitler hadn't killed his self like a coward, what if he was captured and sent to trial? Would you then think it was morally wrong to hang Hitler? I don't think so, what is your opinion?

Hitler ended up a coward. When it came down to the nut-cuttin', he killed himself. Had he been captured, he would certainly have his trial...etc....etc..... Is it morally wrong to put evil to rest? NO. All we have to do with truly evil people, is put them in a Wisconsin jail, like Jeffrey Dahmer.

The way for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. In the case of Hitler I think that they would have hung him but that would be too quick.

I don't believe in the death penalty. If Hitler had been taken to court and found guilty I'd still not have wished him dead, to live your life in prison is punishment deserving, I'd remove the death penalty I'd start with our jails that allows the inmates to get an education (why didn't they chose that route when they were free, now all of sudden they have all this free time in prison so they go for education), let them work very hard while in prison let it not be a fanciful stay.

I don't believe Hitler would have been hung. He was a crazy man. He would have been put into the psychiatric hospital. There was a good documentary about him on the history channel.

Killing yourself is no cowardly act, that takes a lot of balls, but I am pro capital punishment, so no I am not morally bound by the thought of Hitler or Saddam being hanged.
