The work load / quotas are so high that unless you've got a few elves or are willing to break child labor laws by using your kids as cheap labor, you'll not make enough money for it to pay off.

There is a company I work for in my spare time doing data entry at home. It's piece work, averaging about 20 cents per document and there are 10-20 documents per batch. If you type fast, and there is enough work, you can make a pretty good part time income. I wouldn't recommend trying to do it full time though, because you aren't the only one doing the work so when the work runs out there is nothing to do until they upload more work on to the server. But it's decent part time income anyway. Maybe a couple hundred a month for a few hours work here and there.
