I have a portfolio of t-shirts that i designed. I was thinking of looking for retailers that can help me market my collection. If anyone has a better way, pls help me.

One thing you can do is advertise on http://www.alibaba.com or http://www.ec21.com or http://www.kita.net these are international B2B advertising websites (they have both a free and paid service). Anyways, here's what to do, to print T-shirts, most places require crazy minimums and a silk screening fee, so go to Zazzle or http://www.zazzle.com/?rf=238223465085998186 and they can custom create T-shirts, mugs, etc. if you want to direct sell on ebay

ebay is the best place i know of to sell a collection of anything. create an ebay store take lots of pictures to showcase your collection. if you have someone to model them that would be a good addition.

start a website! a percentage of most companies sales come from the internet. Try http://www.BitTraffic.com they have cheap hosting plans to get your site started, and they will also help you design your site, and submit you to all the major search engines :)

Have you looked into online selling thru either Ebay or setting up your own website?
