You're pretty much out of luck. I have not heard of anyone who has had a working phone after it was in water. Unfortuantely, unless you had insurance on it, your service provider probably will not give you a new one under the warranty because the warranty only covers defects....not accidents. You could go in to the local store for your provider, though, and see if there is a similar phone that is open stock...meaning someone bought it and returned it. I saved a bundle by buying a phone someone "test drove". My phone was $300 new but I got the barely used replacement one for $70.

it is probable lifeless. you're able to desire to take out the battery and supply it some week to dry...it would initiate working. in basic terms for destiny cellular telephone-dropped-in-water stories, be sure you're taking away the battery as quickly as you could, because of the fact if there is any potential on the circuit board interior the telephone...water will short it out and the telephone won't artwork anymore. Dont attempt to place the battery back in for a week on an identical time as the telephone dries.

Let the phone dry out a little more. If not, I am certain that your phone has a warranty since u said it was new or even if u have insurance on it just call the service, tell them you situation, and they should send u a new phone and have u send that one in.

Take out the battery and hit the phone with a hair dryer for as long as you can, the longer the better. The longer you can dry it out the better chance you have. Good luck.
