WHY NOT. And my friend what is the meaning of Average Student- who is not topper not failure. Thats what the companies want. Toppers are for academics, it is an average person who does normal things.
A few things you have to remember
1. As far as you maintain normal (say 55-60% marks) level of academic record, its fine.
2. You have to be single minded while preparing. Never think what others say.

Discipline, determination and purposeful practice will lead you towards success in the CAT. CAT is neither a test of intelligence nor is a measure of your intellectual capability. You can achieve a good score by extensive preparation and purposeful practice.

What is Average student. If u have confidence in U, If u think u win , then u win , if u think u loose , u loose. So think positive + do action to win on CAT.
