The way I see it is that if you attack the Australian Government your also attacking the United States of America seeing as Australia is probably the most American country outside of the US!!!

Americans need to understand that the current Australian Government is very pro-American.

No matter how you spin it this question is still crazy. Since we Americans can criticize our government without being Un-American. So the same would go for criticizing the Australian government. Although, I would hope Americans aren't criticizing the Australian government, since I doubt we truly know much about it, except for what our Aussie friends tell us about it. But I'm sure an Aussie could criticize their government without being un-American or un-Australian.

As for me I love both Australia and New Zealand. Everything I've seen about both nations has been good. And I'm old enough to realize all governments have their problems and pitfalls and could use a bit of revamping.

Where you become un-American or un-Australian would be based on how deep your feelings run about the problems of each government. If it is so deep that it's a hatred of the government, then that could be construed as being anti (against) that government. If so that would be considered grounds for being un-American or Un-Australian, since hatred could lead a person to do something against the hated entity.

No, because criticizing Australia has nothing to do with being American. If you were an Australian, then it's probably un-Austrailan

What does being a good American have to do with the praise or criticism of any government? As a good American you can even question your own government.

This question needs to be directed towards Ann Coulter, who is currently in charge of deciding who is and who is not unamerican. Thank goodness we've put one person in charge of that, instead of expecting people to think for themselves!
