Hitler of course wasn't sleeping well, especially when the tide of the war started against Germany's favor. But his doctors gave him sedatives, anti-depressants, sleeping pills so that he can sleep normally. So toward the war's end, he became addicted to drugs and became a junkie. That was clearly evident on Hitler's appearance during his last days.
