Try closing out the option to open it. Then go to the folder where the file is and right click on the file. You will see some options, one of which should be to save this file onto your removable disk (E). Good luck.

First it IS a removable disk.

When you connect it to your comp, go into my computer and double click it (not right click)

Then find whatever files you want to put on the SD card, highlight them, then press CTRL + C

Once you've done this, go back into the window that should be open for the SD card, and press CTRL + V

you should see the files transfer onto the card after that

Is it locked? Some manufacturers add a locking mechanism to write protect the device so the card cannot be accidentally formatted or erased. Look for a little slide on the side and slide it the other side(it may have an image of a lock and an opened lock).

I think you should format it first. Right click on the the icon "removable disk(E:)". Then choose format...
It will format, which means that it will clean the whole SD card. Then go to the file you want to send and right click on it. then choose send to, then select removable disk. Then it will easily come on your SD card. Then do whatever with it.
If it doesn't format, try to get another USB adapter for it. Or get another SD card.
