We are suppose to love everyone and sometimes help them...sometimes our form our love amounts to standing still. That's where wisdom comes in which personally I choose to pray to God for. Is it achievement in a prideful sense or are we feeling loved by God for loving others? After all...what is the opposite of spreading hatred?

I think when you love someone you aim to please them. If helping is what will please them then you will do that in any way shape-or-form. I guess you are looking for the same responce from them, and maybe you feel that by putting yourself out a little bit for them will make them do the same for you. And if it is love, then it should be that way.
