the rings are made up of ice, dust and rocks. and since saturn is such a large planet it has a large gravitational pull making the rings orbit fast

The rings of Saturn are a series of planetary rings that orbit the planet Saturn. They consist largely of ice and dust.

Galileo Galilei was the first person known to have reported observations of Saturn's rings, in 1610. With the telescope technology available, he could barely resolve them, and hypothesized that they were two moons on either side of the planet.[1] In 1655, Christiaan Huygens was the first person to propose that there was a ring surrounding Saturn.[1]

There are several gaps between the rings, all of which are caused by orbital resonances between the tiny particles that comprise the rings, and one or more of Saturn's moons.

i saw this video about how our moon was formed...and it said that the moon was formed from the earth itself!!! it was lucky enough to be in the orbit and not too close, but it is gradually going far from us.

similarly, with saturn the dust and the small rocky particles were formed from within saturn. but they r not strong enough to form a sphere yet.

i am not sure about the second part but it is made of gases and tiny rocks as we say. so it should depend on the speed at which saturn is revolving.
peace.

It consists mainly of rocky material.
They circle the planet at different speeds.
The rings are in orbit around the planet so they cannot be attached.
The inner parts revolve faster than the outer ones.

Saturn is a planet made out of gas. The ring that surrounds its body is made out of various gasses too. These gases when mixed form a colourful "ring".

i think the rings are made of chunks or rock and hot gases, but im not sure.
