I can't get my saw to cut nearly as well as they did 25 years ago. Did they change chain designs? If so where can I buy an old style chain? It is the only explanation I can think of.

well you can't they have put a saftey link between the teeth

take saw to store & buy new chain & file to fit chain

Ever think of sharpening it? you should after every use.
