I've never had the experience...but as the pregnancy moves along and the baby gets bigger it seems like it would be natural. The pubic symphsis (cartilage) that holds the pubic bones together is bound to shift and create some discomfort. But then again your hips should widen as the pregnancy moves along as well. I'm guessing it's normal?

I had it in both of my pregnancies, it might just be that the baby is sitting right on your pelvic bone, that was the case in mine. I used to take a hot water bottle and put it between my legs to ease the pain. I would also sit with my legs elevated to keep the baby up off the pelvic bone, hope that helps.

ditto.... I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter and am in agony. I have been suffering from pubic pain and it goes down my leg and in my back and I can't move. I saw my midwife yesterday and she told me my baby is head down and she is lying back to back so her back is facing my spine. I have been having to use pillows just to sit on the sofa to get comfortable and I haven't had a full night sleep in weeks. The joys.. We haven't got long and I have already told my midwife I'm going to do everything I can to get the baby to come early.
Good luck xx

Yes I had that too when I was pregnant. Birthing a baby does not happen in a day - it takes your body months to prepare for it. This sounds like your body simply preparing for birth by moving bones, ligaments, etc. I wouldn't worry about it.

I had pubic bone pain with my third child. Go see your doctor and tell him about the pain. Your child could be in brow position, this should be noted before delivery.

It is normal, it is everything spreading getting ready for the birthing process. It should stay constant, it should go away soon.

Good luck! Only 10 more weeks left!
