Do you know it's sex? If it's a female that behavior could be from being egg bound. Is the bird eating or drinking? If your bird appears to be in distress I'd recommend taking it to a vet; preferably an aviary veterinarian. (If you have one in your area.) Just like other pets it's always good to take them to the vet every so often for a check up.
