The most insulting thing someone told me was 'I know you' and I am like how in the heck can you say that? I haven't talked to the person since.
Mostly I felt insulted because she really only knew me when I was a kid and I have changed so much since that time that it was just was so totally untrue. She couldn't see why I was so upset.. bleh!

Yes. It was a case of stolen credit for an idea.
I improved our inventory method at work. The boss was VERY reluctant to change it till he saw how well things went.
After a few years, in a conversation about our inventory, he had the nerve to say (I quote it exactly because it still burns me up even though he said it a year or so ago)
"I know that it isn't perfect (referring to MY inventory method) but it was the best that I (meaning HIM) could come up with."

Yes, it has happened to me. Those are insecure persons, that have no valid arguments, and are also very ignorant. Mediocre human beings. It has happened to me at work, about two times, and with the same person. Everybody laughs at his back, because he is a pathetic person.

Uh, yeah, it happens every day to millions of people. For me, the more off-base they are, the funnier it is. I then run around and try to humiliate them as much as possible by telling everyone what an obnoxious horrible liar they are.

Yes as a matter of fact...but it happens. This is something I've been thinking more and more about recently.....it would seem that others are thinking this as well about themselves. It really does hurt.

Yes, my mother. Sometimes the longer I talk to her the more I realize how little she really knows about me.
