and not one arranged by America and the stooge government in Baghdad. Why wasn't his trial for the mass murders of Kurds completed?

Everybody deserves a fair trial.
But even if somebody is an animal hwho did terrible inhuman act, we must conduct a fair trial in order to demonstrate the difference between his inhuman regime and us.

Everyone, including Saddam, deserves a fair trial. Even if it was not on American soil, we should have seen to it that he received a fair trial and not one that was staged. America's founding fathers believed that everyone should receive a fair trial. They believed in it so much that John Adams risked his life and his families life to defend the British soldiers who were involved in the Boston Massacre. All so they could receive a fair trial. It is too bad we do not act like our forefathers did.

Saddam did have a fair trial and it wasn't set up by the US government. How can you think a trial that went on for years wasn't complete or fair. If you love Saddam so much go spend some time with him and stop spouting nonsense.

Edit: I can't believe you people believe he didn't get a fair trial. Are you all part of the Iraqi Bath party?

So how long should the trial have gone on before it was deliberated by the jury? (Or group of judges)

It was Saddam's sons that got off easy, since they died before they could be brought to trial for the crimes their father had them commit. Or don't you believe those stories either?

A reverse question for you: What would be a fair verdict for Hussein?

I think the trial would me much fairer if the appointed judge was not a Kurd.

Saddam received much more "fairness" than any of his victims (or any of the victims of his goat-pokin' sons for that matter). He should have been shot by a US Marine while crawling out of his little hole. I don't think the Kurds are going to be all that upset when they see his fat @ss swinging from a rope. I know I'll crack open a beer when it's done. They need to send a copy of the video to that little iranian weenieman and the pot bellied dog eater in NK (maybe delivered on the tip of a Trident.

Saddam got a fair trial and was convicted by a jury of his peers. He was treated a fairly, something he never did for anyone else when he was in power. Why are you people so sympathetic towards this mass murderer? You call our President a villain and you hold sympathy for a despot. Your thinking is really twisted.

Yes, everyone deserves a fair trial. The one he faced was not. But he was guilty of mass murder whatever way the trial was held.
Humanitiarianism should not be confused with PC woolly liberal ideas. Feel sorry for the thousands he massacred not him. Do you feel sorry for Hitler's cohorts executed after Nuremberg?

I guess you'd like him as a neighbor. He got a fair trial. He exhausted his appeals. He is guilty of the charges. Now he faces punnishment.

Sorry that your support for terrorists and murdering leaders is not going as you planned.

i think saddam got a bettter trial than those he gave to the countless people that were found guilty or innocent in his judicial system...what goes around comes around.
