Yes a lot of them say around a billion and that will do it. After all we all are capable of being heroes. All it takes is honor and integrity, and you don't need to be a dead Hero either. Gen. Patton said there is no such thing as a dead Hero, it is always a living one that counts. He also said you dont win a war by dying for you country. And that makes a lot of sense. Superman never dies and he is a hero in movies and books, and there is a little of that in everyone. Just think if we had a lot of people with that and we were on the same side think what we could accomplish? amazing huh?
There will be some soon I believe, so hang in there.

The "Hero" is in all of us.

One step at a time, even baby steps can get you somewhere.

Stay informed about world and local issues, but start making a difference yourself by being a nicer person, smiling at people, listening to people and being respectful.

Americans have lost RESPECT for each other in the last couple decades. Somewhere along the line, it has become acceptable to shout at people and attack people with opposing viewpoints.

Might makes right is not acceptable behavior.

So, start small, one person at a time, in practicing tolerance, patience, and respect.

Ever notice when you smile at someone, 9 times out of 10 they will smile back?
Same thing happens when you show respect for people.

One small step at a time!

A hero is not a person who has no fear, but overcomes their fear for the good of others. The world may not need a hero, merely a good person.

“Heroes know that things must happen when it is time for them to happen. A quest may not simply be abandoned; unicorns may go unrescued for a long time, but not forever; a happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story.”

“One brave deed makes no hero.”

“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.”

“A boy doesn't have to go to war to be a hero; he can say he doesn't like pie when he sees there isn't enough to go around”

“Worship your heroes from afar; contact withers them”

"There are heroes in evil as well as in good”

Better is relative as WORLD is subjective.

One should be a hero to onesself for the betterment of their OWN world.

You can change the world one person at a time. That's the only way we can make it better....by starting with our own little world. It will escalate from there. We first have to start taking our fellow man into consideration more.
