No. Costmetic surgery has NEVER been a tax deduction in any state. Period. You could margin out an investment account to pay for it though...interest paid on margin loans IS a tax deduction!

If you have spent over $1,750.00 in medical expenses in one financial year you will get a rebate of $0.20 for each dollar in excess of $1,750.00.

You will need to fill in the tax offsets part of your tax return for the year.
