Soon, machines will be helping out in everything! Robots too, might take housewives place, machines might leave some burden off other people's job.

It sounds very much 'comfortable' right? But can they be trusted?
What if THEY have their own mind? Will they ask for rights?

Will we be able to control them or it is the other way round?

Any suggestions?

The subject which deals with technology of makin robots intelligent is artificail intelligence... the subject is not so much developed so as to create a brain more intelligent than humans... all the theory fails when it comes to a point how a robot can face a completely new situation ........ it deals with how a bots brain can be made similar to human brain........humans can react somehow to a completely new situation but a bot cant..... this is how it goes so reasearches are going on on that.........

Yes they can be trusted. They have no original thought, and only do what we tell them to do. The debate should be should Artificial Intelligence. A.I. is where machines can teach themselves, that is the part that should scare most people.

We should not trust robots, robot is not like us, they need electricity.
Furthermore, robot is not fun, they just work.. work... and work. they never speak a friendly word to us. Although robot can have more memory than us, they just do what they had programmed. It hardly imagine that robot becomes our future 'housewife'... no way... anyway, just thinking one thing.... never invent a super robot. eeeeuhh.... i dont want to see 'metal' thing stares me!!!

All you have to do is to look at hacker-created computer viruses to see where this one is going.
