well it is complicated. for starters i dont really give a crap becuase i fin my life interesting enough. BUT!
some people who are to boring to lead interesting lives find that they dont have to do anything themself and they can just read about other peoples lives and it is at least satisfying in some lazy sort of way. so, the media finds out about this and decides that they can sell people information about interesting people and make money on it. to me it sounds like you have enough fun on your life and dont need a media suppliment. so you should be grateful that you are not a boring person.

The sad and frightening fact is that so many do (as the ratings show) want to know. As long as the viewers/readers/listeners continue to demand this garbage, the media will be more than happy to serve it up.
