Cravings are not the same as salt. Cravings are your bodies way of telling you that you need something. When you have an addiction you physically can not go with out the substance. I am sure that you would not quit your job or sell your kids just to get more salt.

I don't think that salt is addicting but you could have low blood pressure and the salt is helping to balance it out.

you have to have salt to live.

if you crave it, then eat some. I usually salt the heck out of some fires or something when I get like that, because I don't eat a lot of salt otherwise.

It means you have a deficiency

I also having cravings for salt all the time. Not sure what it means. I believe I heard somewhere that it means you're lacking some vitamin.

you must need it in your system. go to a doctor and get tested for low blood pressure. But also tell him how much salt you eat too.

you can be addicted to anything really. Addiction is basicly when you feel like you cant live without something and must absolutely have and actualy start getting ill when you dont get it. How to get yourself unaddicted i'm not really sure but i'd consult a doctor.
