I agree with Brian. Killing Saddam wont do much for whatever cause we are "fighting" for. The "crimes" he is being punished for have been committed by governmental leaders around the world since the beginning of time and will still be committed when he is gone. It may seem jaded but it's the absolute truth. Even presidents of These United States can be found guilty of the same atrocities he's been convicted of.

I think it's a shame and the West uttering a curse upon itself. The West has run out of reasonable options. Like a shark eating party, where no shark is safe from becoming part of the feeding frenzy if a wound is found upon it. Yes Saddam created cruelties. They are everywhere. It would be far better to make him work on a farm making food for starving people or in a factory making blankets for the homeless. It seems silly to kill someone who could still be useful and could do good work.

I'm not sure of his execution day as there seems to have been a lot of conflict about the date. Some say it could be as soon as Saturday while others say within a month. That's what I know anyway! Hope this helped! xxx

I think America will really see a nuke after he is hung to death. The terrorists already warned all the Muslims to get out of America, and at least the big city's because something big is going to happen. They don't fall back on their word, and they have to warn us first, that is in their rules & regulations. They have to try to convert before they kill. I don't think we will be any safer after his death, but he deserves it.

So in ten years time we put Bush on trial for having killed thousands of civilians in his various bombing raids?
Saddam was absolute monarch over a people that have a very long history of violence and war. Like it or not, everything he did was legal. It was nasty, unpleasant and vindictive...but it was legal.
