I've looked around at previous questions, and none of them seem to be able to answer my question. I am aware I need to see a doctor for a second time, since my first doctor simply stated to "include more fiber" in my diet. I am a 17 year old girl, and for the past 6-9 months, I have had an increasingly serious problem (please note that I am not sexually active). When i deficate, There is a lot of blood on the toilet tissue, and on occasion a mucus-like substance, with a similar texture to "snot." There is no pain, and defications are not large, but an average size. I tried to fix it myself via milk of magnisia, and more fiber like the doctor said, but to no avail. Since I am incredibly shy, I just need a best case scenario before I visit my doctor. I am incredibly worried. Please help.

Have your stool be examined for any parasite. and then bring the result to your doctor. Have a second opinion if the bleeding still persists. You maybe needing medicine or cream to stop the bleeding.
