And he's not the only one.

Unfortunately no. His legal staff will drag this out as long as possible. I have little regard for any accomplishments Bonds may or may not achieve and less for the organization that supports him. Any person who could let another person (Greg Anderson) do unnecessary jail time because of the lies he told, does not belong in baseball and certainly should never be allowed into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

As far as I'm concerned he will never be recognized as the home run king of either the single season or in terms of his career. Until someone comes along and breaks these two records and who is steroid free, Roger Maris continues to hold the single season home run record of 61, and Hank Aaron holds the career home run record of 755.

I don't care if Bonds hits 1,000 HR's, in my book they all add up to zero!!!!

I doubt it as well - but I've seen him play and they fans in San Francisco certainly seem to love what he does for the team - if not the man himself.

I think it's a terrible shame that one of the most important records in baseball may be broken and then need to have an asterisk by it - Aaron earned the record honestly and even if only 1 homerun by Bonds is tainted it makes the whole game mean even less.

Barry Bonds should be in prison for taking the illegal drug called Steroids to enhance his playing ability. But no he will not be put in prison, because of the hesitation of the stupid judges judging his case. So yes, Barry Bonds will break Hank Aaron's HR record :-( unfortunately, but no, he will not go to prison before he ends up beating it.

No, he wont be in prison before he beats Hammerin Hanks HR record because those Feds dont have any concrete evidence to put him there.

in terms of consistency, If he can ordinary 30 homeruns over the subsequent 10 years, he would be close. it somewhat is hard inspite of the shown fact that. 10 years of consistency interior the a while of 30-40. Alex is tailing off right this moment. for my area, it somewhat is attainable. yet i don't see him hitting 40 homeruns via 38.

Probably not. I find it interesting that baseball players are being talked about going to jail for steroids, but football players get a pass. Shawne Merriman was out for 4 games (a quarter of the season) for testing positive for steroids, but not only does nobody talk about it, they are saying he is well rested for the playoffs and he will win the defensive player of the year. Why are we lynching baseball players but not football?

I would be suprised that any of the ball players implicated in this mess will go to prison. Any with records and hall of fame honours should be stripped of those awards. Hopefully all of them will be recognised as cheaters and be shamed nationally.

That would be great wouldn't it ? It probablly won't happen though .If Bond's goes to jail for anything it will be for charges such as ; obstruction of justice, perjury , etc.
Remember Bill Clinton didn't get impeached because he played hide- the -cigar with Monica ; he got impeached because he lied about it.
btw giants.ba, Bill Clinton did get impeached but he didn't get convicted and you can look that up
