4 of us are going to the hilton hotel swindon for new years eve ,anywhere nice to eat a light meal on new years eve in swindon .
im assuming it will be awkward due to being new years eve .
cant eat at the hilton as they have a dinner dance on and restuarant is closed for that .somewhere not too expensive preferred .thanks

Never thought I'd see a question on here about my home town!
Try the Pagoda Palace (near the big Asda) off the A419. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Or try The Coldharbour in Blunsdon. It's just off the A419 too and has a cosy feel.
