I’m a bit of an athletic runner, so my thighs and butt are muscular, only problem is my waist is quite flat!

Meaning I buy a size bigger, leaving too much room around the waist.

So can anyone suggest any makes of jeans which suit my body?

Cargo or wide leg jeans will allow room for your thighs. Brand doesn't really matter that much. It will be kind of hard for you to find straight leg jeans for that shape (who cares they are ugly on guys anyway!). I know Old Navy's Loose fit bootcut look really good on my husband, and he has plenty thigh room... =)

Levis 550s are good for me, and I have the same profile.
