There's a simple rule in life : if it tastes REALLY GOOD, it is almost certainly REALLY BAD for you.

If the rest of your diet is healthy then there is not reason to not eat the fat off rashers or steak or pork chops or lamb chops. You NEED fat in your diet! A lot of vitamins and minerals that are vital to health are mostly in the fat of the meat or in fatty meat. You might also like to bear in mind that a lot of the flavour of any meat comes from the fat and the bone. Have you ever bought a boneless joint and then wondered why it didn't taste as good 'as it used to'? The other reason is probably that if you bought it from a supermarket it was too fresh!
Many of these 'health food' types make decisions without every wondering why. They hear something, think it sounds healthy and adopt it. I bet that they use these 'Detox' type cleaners on their draining boards as well. Don't they know that by using them the are allowing the really nasty bacteria to survive? How do they think that MRSA managed to get such a big grip?
I know that I have changed the subject but it is one that really bugs (pardon the pun) me. It might be a good idea for a lot of people to read up on Alexander Flemming and work out exactly how an antibiotic works.
So, like eating meat fat AND cleaning - everything in moderation, eh?
Enjoy the fat off your rashers - and make sure that the rind is nice and crispy!

Having a diet with a high level of saturated fat is bad for you. Bacon (especially fried) contains a lot of saturated fat in the red bits and in the white bits. Cutting off the rind and the white bits might make you feel virtuous, but it probably doesn't make a lot of difference. Limiting yourself to fried bacon once a week is probably a better idea.

I don't know if it's really good for you, but I know that the fat off meat usually tastes really good, and gives flavour to a dish (I don't like bacon, but I do love raw ham, and the fat around it!).
So, I would say that if you like it, you should eat it! As long as you have a healthy diet in general, it's fine! What's the point in eating if you don't enjoy it?!

everything is good if you don´t eat to much of it. If you are in some kind of body building then eating the fat is really good, but if you just sit at hoe all day every day and eat fat then it´s bad for you

It depends upon how much you eat. If you have a plate ful every day then it is bad. A little bit once a week will do no harm.

Depends on what fat and how much. Humans need some fat in their diet. Fact.

In moderation no. Same as most things. I love the bacon fat too. The fat round pork chops and steaks is also delicious!
