Going to the Waitrose a bit later to grab a nice foodie treat (normally shop in Asda), along with something to bung in the bath. Then on NYE after work I'm going to have a nice long soak, read a bit of one of the books I got for Christmas, cook myself the nice stuff I got from Waitrose, plonk myself on the sofa with some popcorn, home made ice-cream (Nigella Bites, page 70) and vino and enjoy a nice DVD with the surround sound up loud! Possibly Driving Lessons with Julie Walters or a classic like The King and I. Then into bed which will have had new bed covers/duvet etc for a blissful nights sleep. Pay £50 just to get in my local pub before buying a drink? You must be kidding!! Whatever you do - have fun xxx

Agree with sweet-heart. New years eve is an excuse to binge drink. It will be too busy and the town full of scum.
I'm gonna stay in and watch a film on film4. Then I want to wake up at 12 so I can watch the footie on sky.

My man and I are staying in and cuddling up on the sofa with a table full of nibbles, and a few drinks to keep us fed and watered. And of course we'll be opening a bottle of champagne at midnight!
Wouldn't want to go out,as it's too crowded, you have to buy a ticket to get into the clubs/pubs,and the taxis charge double!

Were staying in cuddled up on the sofa with our dog and our great nephew who were babysitting so our niece can go out with her fella, she doesn't get the chance to go out much these days, though it would be a good chance for her to get out and let her hair down for a change, it'll do her good, you have a brilliant new year whatever you do and may your hopes, dreams and wishes come true for you in 2007.

We watch Disney Channel and watch the ball drop, too! We also devour a lot of junk food! Oooh! i might want to bypass for one in each of your mom's in call for pb m&m cookies today!!! She makes them the perfect! We typically merely devour oreo pie and my mom's dip. We also assemble around the piano and someone performs Auld Lang Syne even as all of us sing. it truly is a lot interesting! and then for sure even as the ball drops and this is New year's, we bypass outdoors, bang pots and pans and throw confetti!!! this is soo a lot interesting! chuffed New year, Gracie! great question! I gave you a in call for human being! :) ? xoxo Anne

Meeting good friends, eating good food and then joining what will feel like several million others in central London for fireworks, bottle of bubbly in hand of course!
Whatever you do - enjoy!
