Sol Melia is a great chain of hotels, there are lot of choices in Madrid (3 to 5 stars).
Madrid has a very good metro connection so it's going to be very easy for you to go to Santiago Bernabeu.
The area where the stadium is, is a business district with not so many things to see, so I would suggest a hotel somewhere at Gran Via which is centrally located (I guess you might want to see some monuments apart from the game).
The stadium has an amazing museum which you have to visit and a brand new restaurant with an amazing view which you HAVE to visit as well!
Have been there and loved it! I'm sure your son will be thrilled!

If you should be buying household vacation areas then Madrid is the town and this hotelbye is the place to start. The kids may only enjoy Madrid because there are enough amusement parks, zoos and excursions to keep them occupied for weeks. In Madrid you may also find a number of the popular place in the world like: Alcalá Gate, el stadium de baseball Santiago Bernabéu, la Plaza España Square and much more. Madrid also offers areas wherever you can get socked with lifestyle, places like: Thyssen Museum or Archaeological Museum. In several words: Madrid is really a town that's many exciting areas to show it.

Hi,

I’m from Belgium, and I’m planning to go to Madrid for the next football game with my brother. I would like to make a suprise to him. Indeed, he is fan of the Real Madrid team and we both love football. Does anyone any suggestions for hotels near the Bernabeu stadium ? And I have a limited budget. I need some help about the public transportation between the hotel and the stadium.

Thank you for your help

even nonetheless this hotel is in simple terms about exiting the city, as there's a metro station and greater than a number of alternative bus lines, you will get to the middle truly. i think of the ease of this hotel is that it truly is going to likely be greater quiet than the others interior the key centre. as an occasion, taking metro from the hotel you will locate close to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and the zone of Prado and Thyssen museums (in simple terms some stations from the hotel)

Check out http://www.spanish-fiestas.com/madrid-hotels.htm. There are some 3-star hotels listed. The site recommends you get a central hotel and use public transport if you are going to the Bernabeu even though there are some hotels nearer.
