On most drives it doesn't matter whether you use +R or -R, unless you are using a DVD recorder - they are usually more fussy. A data CD has data on like file, even MP3s are data. Music CDs are usually the ones that will play on a normal CD player. You can get around 20 tracks burning a music CD - but 200 MP3's will go on a CD. You can usually burn folders full of MP3's to a CD and play them on a decent DVD player.

2 b honest with u ive never seen or hear of "CD+R". What i can tell u is that CD-R stands for Compact Disc Recordable. Meanings u can either store any kind of file, or convert the CD into a music CD that is playable on a CD player.
If you choose to store any kind of file, the CD becomes a data CD because it cannot be played on a music player. however, it is possible to have a data CD with ONLY music files on it.
the advantage of this is, you can store ALOT more music on it. the disadvantage is, it cannot be played as a music CD. A data CD functions the same way a flash drive and diskette work...it just stores files.
a typical capacity for a normal CD-R is 700MB. the average file is a tiny fraction of this in size. Music files are usually about 3MB or more so a CD-R functioning as a data CD would store at least 200 of them. however, a CD-R functioning as a music CD would only store about 18-20 tracks because the music function is bases on minutes and not capacity.
the time limit and capacity are usually displayed on the CD. typical capacity and time limit is 700-800MB and 80 mins.
hope this answers your question.

they are technically the comparable element. once you write (burn) a CD, the approach that the utility use to save the information to the CD is diverse. song CD is playable on a classic CD participant that would not contain a decoder (eg. MP3 decoder). the dimensions of the storage is desperate by utilising how long the musics are. frequent CD can save musics around 60 minutes. information CD is greater elementary in case you utilize it with a working laptop or pc. information CD has information saved on it (a.ok.a. records) the information could be song records which includes MP3, RM, MOV which could be performed on a working laptop or pc and a well-known CD participant. frequent CD can save information around six hundred megabytes.

There is no such thing as CD+R
There is DVD+R and DVD-R one spins clockwise the other anticlockwise ( can't remember which is which ).
Even Music is data, it's just recorded in a format standard (audio) Cd players can read.. CD-ROM drives ( Or CD_RW, DVD_ROM, DVD-R, DVD+R DVD-RW, DVD+RW DVD-RAM etc ) 'know' how to read/write more formats.
