Normally, I like to give wise crack answers on this site, but I have 4 children, my oldest being 13. You sound like you are crying out in pain. Call the nearest teen crisis center, your church, an older adult you can trust, preferably your parents. NOW! You would hopefully be surprised at just how supportive your parents are, if you do not feel you can go to them, PLEASE call one of the above and if you can not figure out to reach one of those , call 911 and ask them to direct you to the right locations for the help you need. Good Luck, I am 45, male and remember being 16, going through changes, lacking self confidence, changing High Schools, Parents who fought. I lived a very nice Upper Middle class existance and to ease my pain, I started drinking and smoking some dope, DO NOT GO THERE! It only makes things worse!! I have been sober for over 2 years, have divorced my first wife and have custody of my 4 kids. You have a wonderful full life ahead of you, the fact that at 16 you realize you need help puts you way ahead of where I was at your age and I am now a successful business owner. So Hang in there get the help and let me know how you are doing. Remember, your generation is the future of our Country...Make the most of it.

Son, isn't there a spell check when you submit a question? Talk with a school counselor and see if they can help you find someone to talk with. If not look in the phone book under clinics and some churches have therapists who can guide you at reduced rates.
The spelling I think you are looking for is psychologist, therapist, confusing, (you got conceptions correct good for you.)
You've done the first best thing which is begin to reach out.
As you are at the very least somewhat familiar with the computer, make use of this very handy tool to do a search in your area. Be sure to check the references of anyone you contact.
Again your school counselor can be a great help, do not overlook that.
I hope the best for you and God Bless.

At a Spelling Bee contest...
But seriously, ask your teachers. Go to the local library. There are many very learned people there who can guide you through.
The first step is to have the passion...you have it I see...
Good Luck...
