Like it or not, a lot of people loved Saddam. Tyrant he may have been but he did have a very volatile people under control.

He had a group of people killed but then again so did we. There will be a backlash if the US hand him over for execution. I dont think anyone doubts that but whatever happens, Iraq is America's problem child now.

Saddam is no fool. He was a strong and harsh leader that became the scapegoat for Bush's ills.

Not everyone wants democracy. It really does not work well everywhere.

Even one million Sadam will be executed it will not help for million years! Everyone have their own interest on Iraq, politics, religion, other countries and Iraqis who are benefited with the current situation. The best thing for Iraq is to put back on Monarchy rule, so that 1 King, 1 word, 1 government and 1 direction....

we gained't extremely tell for optimistic. i think of it could consistently rely on the chief that Iraq could have sooner or later. this is taken under consideration necessary for him to have a appropriate approach on a thank you to regulate people who could pass against him (professional-Saddams, as an occasion) without making an analogous mistake his predecessor committed, which replaced into to motel to violence and dictatorship. For now, in simple terms ending the regime of Saddam is good adequate. Had it no longer been positioned to an end, his 14-3 hundred and sixty 5 days old grandson, who replaced into being groomed then, will quickly take over. i'm no longer asserting that I approve of ways that he replaced into killed (or of the particular shown fact that he replaced into killed), yet in simple terms thinking the surroundings that the greater youthful boy were noted in, this is exceptionally predictable that ought to he be maximum ideal, the rustic could nonetheless proceed to stay in worry. in the meantine, i think of Iraq could ought to undergo a very long approach of re-employer.

Things are much worse for the people of Iraq since Bliar and Bush interfered. I believe the supporters of Sadam will cause mayhem if/when he is executed.

Bringing healing is not what it's about.

It's about bringing justice to a man who has done some very, very bad things.

I'm personally not in favor of capital punishment out of principle ... but this is the Iraqis' show. It's their call.

He says he wants to die a martyr, which means he still feels no remorse for all the killings & genocide. No manner of execution will be punishment at all while he feels this way.

I think there may be an initial uproar / protest but once that's over they can no longer fight in his name.
It will bring a long and sad chapter to an end but peace still looks a long way off.
